Production Geoscience 2010 Closing the loops - From dynamic to static modelling
November 2nd-3rd, 2010 Norwegian Petroleum Directorate, Stavanger, Norway

Accurate reservoir forecasts are a principal outcome of subsurface modelling workflows with subsurface teams striving to provide “integrated” results. However, workflows themselves are too often linear and unidirectional with geological models, in particular, being conditioned by incomplete data (typically well and seismic data). Methods for including production data and simulation model outcomes into static models are not commonly reported. The purpose of this meeting is to uncover examples of such workflows. We particularly welcome practical case studies which can be implemented using the standard suite of geomodelling and desktop tools. In addition, examples of where other non-standard data types have been included into reservoir modelling workflows are welcomed. The following topics will be addressed:
Including production and surveillance data
· Conditioning geomodels with production data
· Updating geomodels with learning from flow simulation
· Field cases
Non-standard workflows and data types
· Downscaling – how do you do it?
· 4D seismic workflows
· Is EM mature for production geoscience?
· How do you handle real time data? e.g. pressure and compaction.
· Earth models - do you need to look beyond the reservoir?
